I thought of these for posters.

- Love animals, don't eat them
- Are you really that hungry?
- Your dinner had a horrible life
- Get hip. Go veg.
- Get wise to the environmental disaster of meat
- Beef = Global warming
- Did you already eat that recalled meat?
- E. coli. It's what's for dinner
- The cows are mad as hell
- Chemotherapy with that meat-burger, sir?
- Eat your vegetables

I plan to run these out from my little jet printer.  If anyone wants to get their pix taken with one, let me know.  - Pamela R.

And from PETA's Web site: "What's that rotting in your colon?  It's BEEF!"

I never really liked meat. I was a child that had to be forced to eat my meat. Whatever you ate before that you loved like turkey slices they've got a substitute now that's not hard to find.   -Masta Killer

Re: I thought of these for posters.

And it would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

Hey Ariel, by the way, I'm on my way up to Rochester to give a little talk to the Rochester Area Vegetarian Society...  I brought a bunch of mini-posters... My slogans, above, printed on 11 x 8-1/2 size paper...   I'm going to ask some of the people up there (oh, it's cold:D) if they'd be willing to have their picture taken with the slogan in front of them...  We'll see. If so, I'll post the images here.  cool

Stay warm, and I'm sure they'll really appreciate your inspiration, Pamela. I'm sure people will be delighted to pose with the miniposter slogans, and they'll be a great addition to this site. Should've put a poster in front of my face in my own "avatar" pic to improve the site, as well.  lol

Go to:
http://www.veggieprideparade.org/pdfs/posters.pdf

You can download and print out the posters yourself.   I hope the nice typefaces show up.

PS: Good job getting your avatar to show up, Ariel.. cool

Re: I thought of these for posters.

They look good, Pamela, hope you got some nice pics of people holding them.  They can also be printed on those iron-on transfers for T-shirts.  Maybe I'll make one for my next veg*n outreach.

Thanks for the note about the "avatar"--I had to keep reducing the cropped picture until it was small enough, and that was from a camera phone!  I'd like a better one, will work on it--hair is too wild! yikes
